This morning, Petro Poroshenko flew from Poland to Ukraine on a scheduled flight. At the Zhuliany airport, he was met by a crowded rally. For some time, the politician could not pass the passport border and said that under the pretext of a check, his passport was taken away from him and they were not allowed into Ukraine.

Subsequently, the passport was given. According to the ex-president, the situation was resolved only due to the fact that there were a huge number of journalists among the passengers of the flight from Warsaw, and a large rally gathered near the airport.

The State Bureau of Investigation said that at Kiev's Zhuliany airport, where Petro Poroshenko arrived at 9:00 today, investigators tried to hand him a subpoena. However, the former president of Ukraine himself believes that they wanted to detain him.

Investigators tried to hand over procedural documents to Petro Poroshenko, they explained at a briefing at the DBR, in particular, a summons to be summoned to the Pechersky District Court, where today at 11 o’clock he will be selected for protection. "However, Poroshenko refused to take the documents, ignored the legal requirements of the investigator, while the people who were with him offered physical resistance, which was recorded on video," the DBR said. "Poroshenko's lawyers assured that they would receive the documents, but after passing the border check and by creating an artificial crowd, they fled," they added at the briefing.

Poroshenko urged supporters to go to court, where, according to him, he is going to "give a fight."

Subsequently, the State Border Service of Ukraine also noted that when crossing the Poroshenko border, the border guards did not violate the laws, but only carried out the instructions of law enforcement agencies.
