In recent years, the percentage of U.S. adults who say they regularly attend religious services has been declining. The Pew Research Center survey shows that more than a third of those who never attend religious services and events say that they "practice their faith in other ways". In fact, this suggests that the United States, which for a long time was an exception among the developed countries, demonstrates similar tendencies towards secularization.
