GLOBALIZATION AND ITS IDEOLOGICAL BORDERS

Author examines the main trends in the functioning of the world system, fixing key events in global politics in 2016, and substantiates the concept of competitive struggle for alternative global development projects. Among them he sees: the Islamic project, the Russian world and the Chinese project of core values. Noting that all three projects are based on values that are traditional for these societies, often religiously inspired, he sees in the implementation of these projects a new phase of globalization, characterized by a loss of exclusivity of Western values and representing a competition of value-ideological paradigms.
