Post-secular society

Globalization has led to the spread of not only Western technology and the market, but first of all of the Western way of thinking. However, by learning to think in a Western way-globally and pragmatically, other cultures do not necessarily support the European values. Moreover – they proclaim their own values and challenge Western civilization, and this process we are witnessing today. The world has entered a new phase of globalization, which is characterized by the loss of the West's monopoly on values and worldview categories and a new round of global competition - on the level of values and worldview systems and global development projects. UISGDA is one of the few academic institutions in Ukraine, which carries out basic research of post-secular society. In particular, the experts of the Institute interpreted the conflict in eastern Ukraine as an acute phase of the global confrontation between secular and one of the religiously motivated projects of global development.
