11.08. Foreign creditors of Ukraine, in order to prevent a default in the country, have postponed payments on external debt of $20 billion.
11.08. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine agreed with Switzerland on the representation of Ukrainian interests on the territory of Russia. However, this requires the consent of the Russian Federation, which has already stated that it is not ready to consider this proposal.
11.08. Greece will exit the European Union’s so-called enhanced surveillance framework on 20 August, a move that will allow the country greater freedom in making economic policy. Greek economic developments and policy have been monitored under the framework since 2018.
11.08. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) published a list of 20 countries whose residents use cryptocurrencies most actively - it was headed by Ukraine and Russia. In third place on the list is Venezuela. This is followed by Singapore, Kenya and the United States.
