1. In Ukraine, since January 16, the requirement of the language law for publishers of national and regional print media on the mandatory use of the Ukrainian language in their publications has come into force. Those publishers who want to print a circulation in Russian will need to publish the same circulation in Ukrainian.

2. On Monday, January 17, the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, returned to Ukraine. Right at the airport, he spoke to a crowd of associates and immediately went to court, where he was supposed to choose a preventive measure in the case of high treason in favor of Russia.
