The goal of the conference is a discussion of different globalization processes, which are implemented
nowadays, including scenarios that are based on religious ideologies; articulation of problems of clash
between value and worldview global paradigms and also specification the conditions of of religious and
secular communities’ tolerant coexistence in a global reality.
Questions suggested for discussion:
Section 1. Classic and alternative models of globalization: is coexistence of different scenarios
possible?
Section 2. Global and local conflicts of modern world, their nature and ways to overcome crisis
tendencies.
Section 3. Isolationist and totalitarian tendencies in modern Western culture. Threats and expectations
for these tendencies.
Section 4. Change of role of religion in the age of globalization. Religious challenges to secular
communities.
Section 5. European future of Ukraine: risks and prospects.
Placement materials:
Collection of scientific works (theses) in English (electronic and hard copy) on the platform (ISSN 1728-
9343). Site of “Skhid”.
Each participant will get a certificate of participating in international internet conference and in creating
the collection of scientific works
The working language of the conference is English.
Costs
The registration fee for participation in the conference is not taken.
An additional copy of the collection of materials, programs and certificate surcharges (please, book in
advance).
Application, and materials can be sent via email as an attached file. The file name with materials – first
author’s last name , for example. "Ivanenko"; the file name with an application, for example. - "Ivanenko
application”, file with the receipt, for example - “Ivanenko receipt”.
