Africa is the World champion in urbanization

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs projects that the world’s 10 fastest growing cities, between 2018 and 2035, will all be in Africa. There are Lagos, Abuja, Abidjan, Doula, and Kumasi among them. Africa will also host eight cities that are expected to more than double in population size in the next 17 years, and 21 of 30 world`s fastest growing cities.
